Miguel

Although the name Miguel creates executive ambitions, we emphasize that it limits your versatility and scope, tuning you to technical details.
  • This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the reproductive organs, and elimination system.
  • Your name of Miguel has made you practical, systematic, and thorough.
  • This name encourages the expression of leadership and organizational skills, shrewdness, and analytical ability.
  • You are mathematically adept and have great patience with work of a detailed nature such as bookkeeping, accounting, or technical research.
  • Particular about your material possessions, you keep everything you own in a good state of repair, and you budget your personal finances very carefully.
  • Because of its matter-of-fact influence, this name limits, to some degree, your ability to be flexible and spontaneous.
  • You tend to treat new and unfamiliar ideas with scepticism.
  • Because of the serious, responsible qualities of your name, you must recognize the importance of a sense of humour and optimistic perspective of life.

Carlos

  • Although the name Carlos creates an interest in the deeper aspects of life, we emphasize that it causes a restless intensity that defies relaxation.
  • This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the heart, lungs, bronchial area, and solar plexus.
  • The name of Carlos has given you sensitivity and appreciation for the finer and deeper things in life.
  • You can enjoy reading, study, and contemplation about many different subjects.
  • When your interests or curiosity are aroused, you work intensely at new undertakings, but your interests often wane when you encounter drudgery and monotony, with the result that you leave many things unfinished.
  • Your name has taken you into many bitter experiences.
  • The greatest lack in your life is stability and peace of mind.
  • A peaceful and quiet environment, especially out in nature, is one of your greatest desires, but you are constantly taken into chaotic conditions.
  • Because you have high ideals and are a principled person, you have been disillusioned and disappointed in people on many occasions and have experienced much aloneness.

Title:                 Hawk, Freedom
Dimension:        1024x768 pixel
Camera:        Canon IXUS75

My 2007 List of Accomplishments

Coverage December 2006 – November 2007

Process Chemistry
1.  Monitored regularly the implementation of chemistry sampling in the plant interface and reinjection lines/wells
2.  Monitored regularly the interface chemistry parameters particularly the NCG in steam and SSI in brine for Palinpinon-1 and Palinpinon-2 modular plants and FCRS so that it is within the specified contract limits.
3.  Participated in the performance appraisal and ranking of field technicians with the group.
4.  Monitored regularly the implementation of TSS sampling of identified wells.
5.  Data reduction of process geochemistry related parameters and update of plots, templates, etc.
6.  Conducted Brine chemistry simulation of Nasulo wells (August 2007)
7.  Attended geochemist meeting and presented "Mechanism of Solids Transport from Wellbore to Surface" to explain the mechanism of solids movement in vertical pipe
8.  Participated in resolving the issue of high TDS in NPC steam condensate. It was found out that the problem is with NPC's method of analysis where the H2S in steam was not scrubbed off, become oxidized and the sulfate components increased TDS reading.
9.  Submitted process chemistry input to the annual and quarterly Geochemistry Update Report. Submitted regular update through weekly activity report (WAR)
10. Provide immediate feedback to superiors on major operational/technical process chemistry related concerns.

TFT Activities
1.  Implemented work program of TFT for SNGPF, MGPF and NNGPF.
2.  From Jan to Nov, completed 239 TFT testing in SNGPF (76), MGPF (63), and NNGPF (64). The expected number of TFT for this year is around 280 activities
3.  Continuing digitization of TFT related hardcopy reports, sampling and injection data, manuals, and references for systematic storage, easy retrieval and mobility.
4.  Coordinated the installation of additional sampling points in the steamline of Nasuji for use in the Steamflow calibration. Steamflow calibration is now in accordance to the Geochemistry Procedures Manual (GPM).
5.  Performed TFT data reduction for RI flow measurement results in SNGPF.
6.  Performed TFT data reduction of well output calculation results for NNGPF.  The timely calculations provide immediate information to managers and decision makers.
7.  The recurring problem during steamflow measurement calibration in the steamline has been systematically solved by reducing the condensation of steam before entering in the cooling coil provided isokinetic sampling flow is attained.
8.  Initiate the utilization of cheaper technical grade NaOH in lieu of the more expensive analytical grade NaOH for the SF6 gas sampling.  The supply of technical grade NaOH is sourced out from Drilling. The use of technical grade NaOh has no effect in the analysis of SF6.
9.  Establishes regular calibration of MFC and balance ensuring that the tracer delivered is accurate.
10. Submitted annual and quarterly TFT Performance update.
11. Participated in the performance appraisal and ranking of field technicians with the group.
12. Provide immediate feedback to superiors  on major operational/technical concerns of the TFT operation

ARMS-RBI Activities
1.  Coordinated with Maintenance and "lobbied" EISD the bulk uploading of component, sub-components, test points data from Excel to the Oracle database thereby reducing the time for data input and attaining a nearly 100 % completion in data propagation in Oracle database.
2.  Provide feedback to EISD regarding concerns in database applications and useful enhancements.
3.  Assisted LGPF Maintenance in the migration of UT data from Access database to Oracle database.
4.  Regular attendance to major meetings.

GeoExpert Systems Development and Computerization
1.  Presented during the 28th PNOC-EDC Geothermal Conference last March 2007 the paper on the GeoExpert Systems Development.
2.  Develop additional minor modules/tools for the Geoexpert Systems
3.  Vigilantly promoting the use of Geoexpert systems to fellow geochemists.
4.  Currently developing the pseudo-intelligence inference engine to be integrated in the GeoExpert Systems.

Geochemistry Procedures Manual (GPM)
1.  As member of the Audit group, prepared audit checklist for brine sampling using cooling coil.
2.  Conducted audit in LGPF last May 2007 of the seven procedures for sampling.
3.  Participated in scheduled committee meetings and plenary sessions.
4.  On-going preparation of Audit Checklist for TFT sampling (Water and Gas).

Training/Seminars/Workshop and Others
1.  Presented a Technical Paper during the 2007 PNOC-EDC Geothermal Conference.
2.  Attended the Trainor's Training Workshop last Nov 12-16, 2007.
